LOUIS WAIN
POSTCARDS |
|
Louis Wain was born
in 1860 and was to become the most famous cat
artist of his time in Edwardian England. |
 |
He drew many, many
cartoons but also real life pictures of cats. He
was very famous in the early 1900s. As his mental
health failed him his pictures became more and
more troubled and strange but still cats played a
strong role in them. Louis Wain died in 1936.
